The LAST (for now) Friendship Village Senior Services’ Update and Response to COVID-19 as of Friday, February 19th, 2021 Celebration! As of Thursday, February 18th, approximately 99% of all residents at every level of care on both campuses have been fully immunized. This has been a wonderful blessing for our residents and our Villages. As of today, of all residents at all levels of care, only one is currently COVID-positive and they are recovering well from the virus they had contracted from off campus. Friendship Village Senior Services’ Update and Response to COVID-19 as of Friday, February 12th, 2021 One week to go until the second round of COVID-19 vaccinations for our independent living residents that will take place on Thursday, February 18th! Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care residents and employees have already received second doses and are now well past the fourteen-day incubation period and are doing very well. Both of Friendship Village’s locations are thrilled to announce renewed 5-STAR RATING designations for Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation at both locations! The rating comes from CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services). CMS provides this rating as a consumer service which offers useful information to the public about the quality of care in thousands of nursing homes! Only 11 nursing homes out of 115 in our area received 5-Star Ratings and Friendship Village has 2 of those 11! CMS strives to limit 5-Star ratings to not more than ten percent […]

Friendship Village Senior Services’ Update and Response to COVID-19 as of Friday, January 29th, 2021 One week past the 1st dose of the Moderna vaccine for Assisted Living and Independent Living residents, all seems to be going well. Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center resident Trula braved the chilly temps along with family members and others Friday to officially cut the ribbon at the new Center! We’re so happy with this addition to our campus!
