Friendship Villages’ February 24, 2022 COVID-19 Update

Welcome to the Friendship Villages’ February 24, 2022 COVID-19 update. For this reason, Friendship Villages has now changed the mask and screening policy that pertains to Independent Living on our campuses. Masks are now optional for all […]

Friendship Villages’ January 3, 2022 COVID-19 Update

Happy New Year!  2022 is coming in with a bang! With the increased prevalence of COVID all around, we are making a temporary policy change for residents, guests and staff of the Villages as a mitigating precautionary measure. Both campuses have had several residents report that they have been exposed to friends and family who have subsequently tested positive for COVID-19.  A few of these residents have now tested positive, though generally the symptoms have been relatively minor, and we thank our Good Lord for that. Effective Tuesday, January 4th, […]

Friendship Villages’ December 28, 2021 COVID-19 update

Happy Holidays!  We hope everyone had a good Christmas, celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ.  We hope you are looking forward to a fresh start in 2022, as are we. With the increased news about the high prevalence of COVID all around, we wanted to provide an update as to where Friendship Villages stand currently (understanding that this is a constantly fluid situation).  Please note that we do not have data on which variant of COVID a person might have.  All are cared-for in the same manner. As […]

Friendship Villages’ December 20, 2021 COVID-19 Update

Welcome to the Friendship Villages’ December 20, 2021 COVID-19 update. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Friendship Villages! As we recall, virtually all residents received the full regimen of vaccinations last winter and, since then, more than 1,000 residents, including all levels of care on both campuses, have received COVID vaccination booster shots.  Many others sought boosters on their own and would add to this number. Still, COVID-19 remains a challenge. We have had a bit of a spate of COVID on the Chesterfield campus.  Recently and currently, several […]
