Happy New Year! 2022 is coming in with a bang! With the increased prevalence of COVID all around, we are making a temporary policy change for residents, guests and staff of the Villages as a mitigating precautionary measure. Both campuses have had several residents report that they have been exposed to friends and family who have subsequently tested positive for COVID-19. A few of these residents have now tested positive, though generally the symptoms have been relatively minor, and we thank our Good Lord for that. Effective Tuesday, January 4th, […]

Happy Holidays! We hope everyone had a good Christmas, celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ. We hope you are looking forward to a fresh start in 2022, as are we. With the increased news about the high prevalence of COVID all around, we wanted to provide an update as to where Friendship Villages stand currently (understanding that this is a constantly fluid situation). Please note that we do not have data on which variant of COVID a person might have. All are cared-for in the same manner. As […]

Welcome to the Friendship Villages’ December 20, 2021 COVID-19 update. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Friendship Villages! As we recall, virtually all residents received the full regimen of vaccinations last winter and, since then, more than 1,000 residents, including all levels of care on both campuses, have received COVID vaccination booster shots. Welcome to the Friendship Villages’ September 28, 2021 COVID-19 update. We have been very blessed during recent months at Friendship Village with regard to COVID-19. Since January 2021, when virtually all of our residents completed their vaccination process, only a handful across both Villages have contracted COVID-19. Each of these residents had been fully vaccinated. All contracted the virus from friends, family or attending events off campus. All have recovered. On Monday, September 27, 2021, St. Louis County issued a new mandate that requires all persons over the age of […]
