Welcome to the Friendship Villages’ February 24, 2022 COVID-19 update. As we approach the second anniversary of encountering COVID-19 in our area, we are pleased to report that there has been a significant reduction in the number of COVID cases on campus.  Virtually zero new cases, except in the increasingly rare instance when someone brings it back from a stay in the hospital. With our President and CEO Terry Walsh at the helm of a great evening, we held our annual Captain’s Dinner. The night featured a scrumptious tenderloin and seafood dinner, a pianist and a fantastic excuse to get dressed up!

Happy New Year!  2022 is coming in with a bang! With the increased prevalence of COVID all around, we are making a temporary policy change for residents, guests and staff of the Villages as a mitigating precautionary measure. Both campuses have had several residents report that they have been exposed to friends and family who have subsequently tested positive for COVID-19.  A few of these residents have now tested positive, though generally the symptoms have been relatively minor, and we thank our Good Lord for that.
