Both of Friendship Village’s locations are thrilled to announce renewed 5-STAR RATING designations for Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation at both locations! The rating comes from CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services). CMS provides this rating as a consumer service which offers useful information to the public about the quality of care in thousands of nursing homes! Only 11 nursing homes out of 115 in our area received 5-Star Ratings and Friendship Village has 2 of those 11! CMS strives to limit 5-Star ratings to not more than ten percent […]

Friendship Village Senior Services’ Update and Response to COVID-19 as of Friday, January 29th, 2021 One week past the 1st dose of the Moderna vaccine for Assisted Living and Independent Living residents, all seems to be going well. The vast majority of reactions were minimal and on the order of the reaction from a typical flu shot. A very small number were anything more than that and those reactions have all now passed. Vaccine Day at Friendship Village was an amazing day! Both Chesterfield and Sunset Hills Independent Living residents received their first dose of the Moderna vaccine! Friendship Village Senior Services’ Update and Response to COVID-19 as of Friday, January 22nd, 2021 Assisted Living and Independent Living Vaccination Day #1 was a success! On Thursday, January 21st, all Assisted Living and Independent Living residents received the first dose of the Moderna vaccine in a day full of excitement and joyful anticipation of the future. In all, more than 400 immunizations were administered on the Chesterfield campus and more than 525 immunizations were administered on the Sunset Hills campus.
