We’re so excited the Moderna COVID vaccine is here and Skilled Nursing Residents, Skilled Nursing staff and other staff members of Friendship Village Chesterfield were able to get the first of the two doses Tuesday!
We anticipate those getting the vaccine will get a second dose in 28 days.
All those getting the vaccine have volunteered and no one is required to get vaccinated.
We are hopeful that residents in Assisted Living and Independent Living will be slated to receive their first dose of the vaccine in mid-January, but there is no exact date established as of yet.
The same process happened Monday at Friendship Village Sunset Hills and we are thrilled about that, too!
