Question: You say you used to show dogs. What drew you to do that? Answer: “It was a lifestyle, definitely, like owning a boat or something like that. I used to travel a lot, mostly from here to Boston. I bread Weimaraners, delivered puppies, raised them and then showed them for ten years. I just enjoyed the breed. Welcome to the Friendship Villages’ September 28, 2021 COVID-19 update. We have been very blessed during recent months at Friendship Village with regard to COVID-19. Since January 2021, when virtually all of our residents completed their vaccination process, only a handful across both Villages have contracted COVID-19. Each of these residents had been fully vaccinated. All contracted the virus from friends, family or attending events off campus. All have recovered. Question: You’ve done a lot of work as a volunteer. How has volunteering over the years enriched your life? Answer: I’m a people lover, and that brought me into becoming a guru volunteer.
