I’m working on a biography right now about Laura Ingalls Wilder’s life who wrote Little House on the Prairie, which is 500 pages in small text that has been very interesting. A somber, but substantial and prayerful group was on hand for the annual Friendship Village Sunset Hills Memorial Service which paid tribute to the 95 residents we lost in 2019. There were words and songs of remembrance and strength in our group as we took a few moments to honor the loved ones who left our community, but will always remain in our hearts. The annual Memorial Service for Friendship Village Chesterfield will be scheduled soon.

Question: Did you like high school? Answer: “That’s a tough one. Academically, it just went by. I met Pat (Pat Weber, George’s wife) and fortunately or unfortunately, it was good and I got a little distracted. So, my grades were average. I didn’t think I was going to go to college and I just lived day to day, I guess. Girls had my full attention and she (Pat) was one of them. Question: What do you think made you love arts and crafts? Answer: “I love paper. I’ve enjoyed crafts since I was young, and I always had an endless supply of paper that my dad would bring home from work. It’s a way for me to express myself and it’s fun!
