Question: What is one of your favorite things to do? Answer: Well, we play pool here (at Friendship Village) three days a week. Some people think “swimming pool” when you say “pool,” but we play billiards. When we were young, we all played pool in our rathskellers (basements), but now it’s kind of more serious. Question: Where did you sing and what has that meant to you? Answer: “I started singing when I was 12, although I didn’t perform solos until I was in college. I sang with several audition-only groups including the St. Louis Symphony Chorus, the St. Louis Chamber Chorus, and spent 17 years in the American Kantorei, which is a Lutheran group of 32 singers.
