“Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” - Psalm 61:1-2
I hate hatred. My heart grows faint and I am overwhelmed with the horrid reality that racism is still alive in our nation. It’s evil.
In spite of the challenges that arise from injustice, I believe there is still hope in God. This hope arises by going to Him with honest hearts that cry out. “Listen to my prayer! My heart grows faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”
He is our unshakable hope when life crumbles. He is our sure foundation when society caves in. His faintest whisper is stronger than evil’s fiercest roar.
He is our ever-present help in time of need. He is our Rock. He is our hope!
