“Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” - Matthew 6:33
Worry never adds to our lives, it only takes. It takes away our peace, our hope, our joy, and so much more. In the 6th chapter of Matthew, Jesus gives us an answer to worry. He tells us to seek the Kingdom of God. Because the Lord rules and is ultimately in charge, we can always find hope in Him. Beyond the momentary circumstances of our day, there is a greater good that God is always working into our lives if we are turning toward Him and saying “yes” to His purposes in our lives. As we choose to honor and serve Him, we discover that everything else we need to thrive is found in Him. Are you worried today? Look to the rule and reign of God. His Kingdom is all around, and He will sustain us!
