“Immediately Jesus spoke to them and said, ‘Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.’” - Mark 6:50
The night was dark and the winds were strong against them as the disciples attempted to cross the Sea of Galilee. Suddenly, they saw Jesus walking on the water in the midst of those harsh conditions, headed straight for them. The disciples were terrified and wondered if they were somehow seeing a ghost! Yet, Jesus called out to them and spoke courage into their hearts. As Christ climbed into the boat with them, the seas calmed and the winds ceased.
In the midst of our trials, Jesus has not abandoned us. As we attempt to make it through to the other side, He walks through the storm to join us and see us safely through. Take courage today. The Lord is with you!
