The world of ancient Israel was a hard place. The people were subject to their Roman conquerors. Disease was rampant. Most people were poor and daily life was a real struggle. But then Jesus came with a message of hope, declaring that God’s rule and authority was present now, and that all should turn to Him. Jesus traveled from town to town, announcing that the Kingdom of God had come. As proof, He loved people from all walks of life, brought truth to all who would receive it, and healed the sick. Everyone who trusted in Jesus experienced transformation from the inside out. Today, the Good News of the Kingdom of God is just as true as it ever was. There is a God who loves us! Jesus gave His life that all of us might discover forgiveness and be made new. And whatever obstacles confront us, He is the answer we need. Be encouraged today. The Good News is for all of us!
