“I will praise You, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify Your name forever. For great is Your love toward me…” - Psalm 86:12-13a
These words are part of a prayer by King David who was in a bit of a mess. He had made some mistakes and needed the Lord’s mercy and forgiveness. In addition, enemies had risen up against him, threatening his very life. In the midst of his distress, however, he chose to focus on worshipping God. Despite all of his errors, He knew the Lord still loved Him. On our darkest days, even when we think we deserve the worst, God remains merciful and kind. Call out to Him today!
