The people had been praying for a warrior to arrive to rescue them from the Romans. God had other plans. He sent Jesus into this world as an infant child to show us that God is love! An army of angels appeared to shepherds (society’s outcasts), not with swords, but with words of praise and song. God’s way is love. The Savior has been born for us to know that love!
