Years ago, an advertisement for LIFE cereal featured two children who didn’t like the way their food looked and so kept they announcing, “I’m not going to eat it!” Suddenly, however, they looked over and saw a third child happily munching away. “Hey Mikey – he likes it!” became the popular slogan. Sometimes people resist the idea of God because of a bad life experience or a false perception of religion. Yet, the Scripture calls us to discover the goodness of God for ourselves.
