"Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting." - Psalm 139:23-24
The Psalms are prayers set to music. Each one is personal and full of emotion. With Psalm 139, the writer is concerned about facing enemies. As he brings his fear to the Lord, he reminds himself that no one knows him better than God. The Lord knows well both our strengths and weaknesses and our hopes and fears. He promises to be with us regardless. Let’s ask Him to help us overcome any fears we have and to reveal the way forward. He is faithful to meet us where we are!
