“I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and in His word I put my hope.” - Psalm 130:5
“Remember Brookhaven.” I often say this when things do not turn out as I hope. My daughter interviewed to work at Brookhaven after grad school. We all thought the job was a done deal…until it wasn’t. We were both confused and upset. It seemed so right yet went so wrong. In the end, God’s plan was far wiser in every way. We now realize we were expecting God to answer in one specific way rather than simply trusting His word. Adjusting to put our hope in God’s word, instead of how we want Him to answer our need, is an adjustment that makes a real difference. Let’s hold one another in prayer and choose to place our hope in the Word of God!
