The story of Nehemiah is about a man who was determined to see the broken city of Jerusalem restored after it had been destroyed and conquered by invaders. This meant that the protective walls surrounding the city had to be rebuilt. The task was overwhelming, and everyone said that there was no way for it to be done. But Nehemiah cried to the Lord and asked for His help. God worked in the hearts of the people, brought them together to work as one, and against all odds the wall was rebuilt! Are there broken areas in your own life today? Our Heavenly Father is a healer and a restorer. He is glad to bring you both strength and help to get the job done. Open your heart to Him. He will be attentive to your prayer!
