"And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. - Matthew 8:2-3
“Don’t touch me!” That’s what I yell when someone approaches me when I am covered in dirt from the garden or sweat from a hot summer day. The leper in our story was also unclean, but soap and water could not rid the filth. He broke the rules and went towards Jesus who touched his untouchable life. The leper was forever changed with a new identity. He was the one the Lord had accepted and healed. If you need a clean start, He is here to help make that happen!
