"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." - Matthew 6:34
In the middle of His famed “Sermon on the Mount,” Jesus spoke to the crowd about worry. In those days, life was hard for everyone. Threats of poverty, disease, and oppression, were constant. Yet, Jesus said not to worry; tomorrow would take care of itself. He wasn’t telling them to stick their heads in the sand and pretend all was well. He was telling them the truth that God yet cares for them and knows their needs. Let’s trust and seek the Lord today. He will see us through!
