"For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." - Colossians 1:13-14
The Lord is a rescuer and a redeemer. He makes things right in the end. When the whole world was separated from God because of our selfishness and sins, the Lord created the way for us to be restored back to Him. Jesus voluntarily took the punishment that we deserved upon Himself. What He accomplished through His death and resurrection has provided a new opportunity for us all. No matter our guilt or fault, we can find a fresh start through Him. No one has to be dominated by fear or shame. Forgiveness is real, and a new day awaits!
