Two disciples walked on the road to Emmaus discussing Jesus’ recent death. Sorrow filled their hearts. They did not recognize Jesus when He appeared and asked, “What are you talking about?” Though Jesus knew the answer, He wanted to join their conversation. He wanted them to talk with Him about their questions and broken dreams. He did not ignore their pain or concerns. He journeyed with them in it.
Jesus is also with you right now. Talk with Him. He is listening.
