On Sunday mornings, we’ve been making our way through Luke’s Gospel and this past week we explored the last night Jesus spent with His disciples. In those days, gatherings with dear friends and special meals would be eaten while reclining on pillows around a table instead of sitting in chairs. The idea was that this would be an extended time together, with deep heart to heart sharing. God is looking to draw us near, to pour His heart into our ours, and to give us rest and refreshing. Make time to spend with Him today. The Lord wants to fill you with fresh strength and renewed hope!
