Life can be like a roller-coaster, full of unexpected twists, turns, and drops. Some people love that. Others would like to know far ahead of time what is yet to come and whether they can opt out! Over an evening meal, Jesus gathered with His disciples to let them know that tough times were approaching. This way, they wouldn’t feel caught by surprise. They could trust that God had better days ahead. We go through seasons that can feel pretty tough. The Good News is that Jesus promises His peace to sustain us. In the end, He gets the final say…and He has overcome the world. Take heart! Better days are on the horizon!
