Some people seem to always be able to look on the bright side of any situation. They carry an infectious optimism. I want to be that kind of person. How can we live this way? We must find a hope greater than this life’s hardships. The prophet Jeremiah lived when great destruction was about to come on the people. How would any of them be able to find a way forward again? He chose to look to the Lord to be His hope no matter what. When we turn to the One who loves us, stands ready to forgive, makes new, and offers real strength, there is always hope. No matter what!
