There was a time in biblical history when the nation of Israel had rebelled against the Lord. As a result, they were conquered by the Babylonians and went into a time of captivity. They were ashamed because of their sin and became convinced that God wanted nothing more to do with them. But the Lord spoke through the prophet Isaiah and assured them that He still loved them with all of His heart. His plan was to forgive them, redeem them, and see them restored. The same is true with us. The Lord loves us all and works continually for our good. He loves us with an everlasting love and restores all who trust in Him. Right now, He is rejoicing over you!
