“Surely” is a great word! Of how many things can we actually say we are “sure?” Yet, when the people of God seemed like they had been conquered by their enemies and all of life had been thrown into upheaval, the prophet Isaiah made a statement full of unrelenting faith: “Surely, God is my salvation!” At all times and in all situations, God remains faithful to His Word and to His nature.
