Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism 35 but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right." - Acts 10:34-35
The Apostle Peter was certainly called of God and anointed for ministry, but that doesn’t mean he was perfect or didn’t have room to grow and develop. One area where he struggled was prejudice. His upbringing told him that certain people groups were to be avoided at all costs…and God had to set him straight. The truth is this: God loves every single person, regardless of history or skin color, and we are meant to show this love to all. On this MLK day, let’s hold on to the virtue of Christian love for all people. It makes all the difference!
