“In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:18
This scripture was written in the context of a challenging conversation about difficult times. One of the admonitions given was for us to give thanks in everything. We have to focus in order to count our blessings in the middle of disturbing news. It is well worth the effort though. What are some of your blessings? Consider counting them one by one, and maybe share them with your neighbor. It just might help.
