Today’s Scripture is one that is easy to do when things are going the way we want. But how about those seasons that leave us weary or dejected? It takes determination to praise God when feelings betray us into thinking that God is not here, or that He is far away and does not care. That is the farthest thing from the truth. Thanks is a gift that helps us remember how good God is. It infuses our troubled times with hope. No wonder the Lord encourages us to give thanks in all circumstances. It not only blesses Him, it blesses us too.
