Meet our Community Life Services Director of Friendship Village Sunset Hills, Bobbie Liverar! Bobbie will have been with Friendship Village 30 years come October! She started off in food service, where she stayed for 12 years. She began her journey as a server before becoming the dining room manager, and eventually the food service office manager. Ron Denny has been with Friendship Village for over 11 years. Making the move from construction, Ron’s first role was as a carpenter at our Sunset Hills location. Ron’s services were needed in Chesterfield, so he started splitting his time between the two campuses before working permanently in Chesterfield. Senior citizens and college students to pair up, virtually, through innovative program Friendship Village and Create Circles are partnering to help combat the loneliness many older adults are facing due to social isolation as a result of the COVID-19 stay-at-home order. Over 600 masks have been sewn to date for healthcare workers and residents Due to the COVID-19 stay-at-home order, Friendship Village’s residents are hard at work sewing masks to not only keep themselves and staff members safe, but also the rest of the St. Louis community.
