“Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Where is the house you will build for Me?" - Isaiah 66:1
God spoke to the people through the prophet to let them know He was looking for a resting place. A place to be “at home.” It’s not that God is restless, but rather He longs to be in relationship with us. The point He was making through Isaiah is that we could never construct a building that could fully contain His presence. He will, however, come and dwell in the heart of every person who seeks Him in faith and turns to Him.
Today, the Lord Himself wants to dwell with you! Trust in Him!
