The people who caught Jesus’ attention on this day were worn out, confused and distressed. The good news is this: Jesus noticed them. He did not turn his head the other direction or pretend that He did not see. He was not overwhelmed or startled by the greatness of their need. In fact, the opposite happened. His heart was stirred up with compassion as He looked upon them in their pain and difficulty.
Where are you struggling now? Consider inviting His comfort and peace into these places. Your Good Shepherd sees you. He is here to help. And He cares!
