“Surely, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid.” - Isaiah 12:2
“Surely” is a great word! Of how many things can we actually say we are “sure?” Yet, when the people of God seemed like they had been conquered by their enemies and all of life had been thrown into upheaval, the prophet Isaiah made a statement full of unrelenting faith: “Surely, God is my salvation!” At all times and in all situations, God remains faithful to His Word and to His nature. We can count on Him to be merciful, compassionate, and determined to rescue all who place their faith in Him. Trust Him with your day! He is the courage and strength you need!
