There are brighter days ahead! The trick is holding on to our trust in the Lord until they get here.
King David is perhaps considered the greatest king in Israel’s history, but his reign was not necessarily known for being a time of peace. There were continual battles with surrounding nations over and over again. However, when his son, Solomon, became king after him, the times changed. After many years of struggle and hardship, the people entered into a new season of provision and rest.
Life takes us through cycles. Times of trouble will eventually change, especially as we keep our hope and trust in the Lord. He is looking to bring us into His rest, where there is no more disaster. That day is coming! Between then and now, remember that He is right here with us and will certainly see us through.
