Scripture: “But when they cried out to the LORD, He raised up for them a deliverer…” - Judges 3:9a
The book of Judges reads like a whole series of ups and downs. The people went through seasons of triumph and peace, only to become rebellious and fall away from God. Then, heartache and difficulty would follow until they eventually turned to the Lord for help. It happened over and over again. The amazing part is that God never gave up on them. He patiently waited for them to come to their senses and turn to Him, and then He would faithfully raise up a champion to help them overcome and find their way again. The Good News is that He never stops reaching out to us either. As we turn and cry out to Him, we can find that He is still present to help us in our time of need. The Heavenly Father is always looking for opportunities to help and rescue, and we can trust that He remains with us even now.
