The Village Care Center at Friendship Village Sunset Hills and Administrator Stacey Zerban were recognized with the American College of Health Care Administrator’s (ACHCA) Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award for excellence in skilled care.
The strict eligibility requirements narrow the field to the top 11% of skilled nursing facilities nationwide and to only 18 of eligible nursing homes in the entire state of Missouri.

This prestigious distinction uses data-driven criteria to objectively identify high-performing skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and the leaders who make them excel. Award recipients are identified using publicly collected data by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), which is pulled and evaluated by an independent third party.
“It’s a tremendous honor that the American College of Health Care Administrators surveyed data from all 517 nursing homes in Missouri and identified the Village Care Center in the top 3%,” added Walsh.
Stacey will join the other administrators of the awarded high-performing SNFs to be celebrated during ACHCA’s national awards ceremony held at the Annual Convocation and Exposition this April in Orlando, Florida.
