EVENT: The Blockheads, a group of Lindbergh High School students, girls aged 14 and 15, who developed a unique, environmentally conscious, patent-pending innovation – EcoGlOo, are holding a Styrofoam recycling event on Thursday, February 1, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Sunset Hills Community Center. The awareness-raising event provides support to The Blockheads, who will be unveiling their new EcoGlOo product – perfect for those looking for a Styrofoam recycling solution that will really stick.
Families and businesses are invited to attend and bring clean, white polystyrene (Styrofoam) for recycling. In addition to collecting Styrofoam, The Blockheads will demonstrate how they make their gooey, earth-friendly adhesive, EcoGlOo. EcoGlOo will be available for sale at $3.50 per 2 oz. bottle.
WHEN: Thursday, February 1 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
At 4:30 p.m. meet The Blockheads and see EcoGlOo live demonstration. Hear from Residents from Friendship Village and representatives from Forest Park Forever, Girl Scouts and Lindbergh Schools on their support of the project.

ABOUT: The Blockheads, a group of Lindbergh High School students, girls aged 14 and 15, developed a unique, environmentally conscious innovation – EcoGlOo, that is now a product with a patent pending. Their glue is made from recycled polystyrene and was invented as a result of a project undertaken as part of Girl Scout Troop 1484 and led by Coach Michelle Yepez and FIRST LEGO League Team 183, and developed with input with Residents and staff of Friendship Village Sunset Hills.
