Friendship Village Senior Services’ Update and Response to COVID-19 as of Friday, September 18th, 2020
Dear Friends, Residents and Families of Friendship Village:
What a beautiful Fall week this has been at Friendship Villages on this Friday, September 18th, 2020.
Friendship Villages in Chesterfield and Sunset Hills have been exceptionally blessed by our Lord Jesus Christ to report, once again, that there are no COVID-positive Residents in any level of care (Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, Memory Care or Independent Living) on either campus. We can’t thank our Residents and staff enough for their diligence in following the protocols in place that continue to effectively protect the campuses from COVID-19.
In addition, we are also blessed to report that, at this time, there are no employees who are currently positive for COVID-19 and only one on hold at home awaiting a test result.
Our teams in our Skilled Nursing facilities and our Assisted Living operations are doing everything possible, within the guidelines placed upon us from the various health authorities, to enhance family visitations with our Residents. Stay tuned to your specific facility to remain up to date on changing rules and conditions so that you can take advantage of enhancements as they occur. We are very much in tune with the need for family connection and socialization for our Residents and we know how important it is to all concerned and our teams do everything possible to bring families together as rules permit. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and ongoing cooperation. We all agree that it’s been a very long time.
