Friendship Village Senior Services’ Visitor Policy
In the effort to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, Friendship Village is implementing the following actions regarding visitors:
- No visitors have been allowed inside the Village Care Centers (skilled nursing facilities) or Assisted Living since early March.
- No visitors have been allowed inside our independent living buildings for the past 2-3 weeks.
- While “window” and “balcony” visits had previously been allowed for Care Center and Assisted Living visits, they are no longer permitted.
In accordance with the new Missouri “Stay at Home” order, Friendship Village no longer permits ANY visitors on campus for any reason.
- Continued No Visit Policy in ANY building at any level of care including Care Centers, Assisted Living, and independent living.
- No Visit Policy is in effect for “window” visits, “balcony” visits, “parking lot” visits and “outdoor sitting area” visits.
- The No Visit Policy also applies to package delivery by friends and family. Package delivery is to be accomplished at “drop and go” stations by main entrances. Residents will not be present to greet the deliverer.
This policy is in effect until further notice.
We encourage friends and family to use telephones and other electronic means of communication to visit remotely. We can assist if necessary.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
