We Are Friendship Village: Tony Snyder, resident Friendship Village Sunset Hills

February 7, 2020

Question: If you could give young people a piece of advice, what would it be?

Answer: “Don’t eat too much. My longevity is probably because my wife wouldn’t let me have as much salt as I wanted. She’s a very good cook. She helps me watch what I eat. Some people eat lots of salt and too many sweets. Many many young people eat fast food with all the salt and just look at the obesity.” – Tony Snyder, resident Friendship Village Sunset Hills

The text and photo above are part of a year-long project called We Are Friendship Village. We are gathering these photos and brief interviews for Friendship Village’s website’s blog section each day as we chat with residents at Friendship Village Chesterfield and Friendship Village Sunset Hills. We want to give a snapshot introduction to the residents who make up our wonderful senior living communities and give some bit of insight into something you might not know about them. It’s always easier to make new friends when you know a little about them!

At year’s end, we will publish A BOOK featuring the wonderful residents who participated. And people who participate in the project get a FREE COPY OF THE BOOK! During this year, we will also be sharing these photos and text on Facebook and other social media such as Instagram, so keep an eye out for them! And you can follow the hashtag #WeAreFriendshipVillage to stay up to date!

We’re excited for this great chance to share a bit about who we are! Residents’ participation takes just a few minutes, so it won’t take much time to be a part of it!!

Want to participate (or know someone else who might want to?), Please give us a call at (314) 270-7837 or send an email to nagysteve@fvstl.com or drop by the marketing suites in Sunset Hills or Chesterfield. We have 365 of these to do over the course of the year, so everyone is welcome!

We’re looking forward to talking with folks as we get to share more about the senior living residents who are making our Friendship Village retirement communities so wonderful!

Thanks!
