One of the best things about home health nursing is that every day brings new challenges and rewards. With FV at Home, you have the ability to shape your own workday and make a real difference in peoples’ lives. Here’s a glimpse into what your day might include:
- Scheduling Visits – Take control of your week! Plan a weekly schedule that’s best for your patients and YOU! Need to accommodate school drop-offs, family time, or other obligations? You have the flexibility to make it all happen!
- Commuting to Patients – You bring quality care to the comfort of patients’ homes which means it requires more driving than your typical clinical role. To make for easy travel between residences, we provide a company car and a gas card for most FV at Home positions!
- Building Care Plans & Problem Solving – Use your expertise to assess each patient’s unique needs and build personalized care plans to address challenges and achieve goals. You’ll be helping seniors who are recovering from surgery, managing a chronic illness, or navigating complex medical treatments.
- Providing Care – Provide comprehensive care that promotes healing and well-being. This can include medication management, wound care, taking vital signs, assisting with ADLs, and more.
- Monitoring Progress – You’ll track your patients’ progress, celebrate their successes, and adjust care plans as needed to ensure they’re working toward their goals effectively.
- Building Connections – The best part of the job? The connections! You’ll develop strong bonds with your patients and their families, providing compassionate care and becoming a trusted source of support and education.
