We rejoice during life’s triumphs: graduating with a degree, getting a new job, finding that special someone, the birth of a child, and so much more. We also lament over many setbacks: a sudden layoff, the ending of a relationship, lingering illness, and the sting of death. When we hurt, it can be hard to trust in the goodness of God. Yet, He is not aloof or uncaring. We have His promise: in ALL things, He is working! He takes even the darkest moments of our lives and reworks them to bring about a greater good. No matter what we are facing today, we can trust Him.
