The Bible never instructs us to try to be good enough for God to love us. He already does! And He always will! The Lord’s love for us is not based on our performance or how well we follow a list of do’s and don’ts. He loves us because He made us and we belong to Him. On our worst day, when we have felt the most unworthy and unlovable, God’s heart is still full of overwhelming compassion and care.
