“Bring joy to Your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in You - Psalm 86:4
The Psalmist David cried out to God all day long during a time of trouble as ruthless hateful people sought to destroy him. David knew that joy wasn’t necessarily coming from his circumstances, so he turned to the Lord in prayer and poured out his heart. We can put our trust in the Lord and pray the same prayer when we are in need. “Bring joy to me, Lord.” God has no favorites. He helped King David…and He will help you!
