“Your way was through the sea, Your path through the great waters; yet Your footprints were unseen.” - Psalm 77:19
Psalmist Asaph set his woes to music. He sang about the need for comfort, the struggle of doubts, and questions about whether God was mad at him. The psalmist also sang about miracles from long ago. Remembering God’s presence in times past helped him remember “The footprints of God were unseen, but He was present nonetheless.” May God’s goodness encourage your heart. His footprints are there even when you cannot see them.
