All of us have fearful moments. Sometimes, such feelings reflect concerns for ourselves. Sometimes, they stem from our worries for others. If our expectation is to somehow engage in a life free of concerns, we are in for a letdown. Heartache happens. Yet, that reality doesn’t mean that we are without hope or devoid of resources. The Lord is a source of strength for all who turn to Him. His care, comfort, and commitment are enough to see us through every obstacle. In the moments when we find ourselves afraid, let us draw near to the Lord!
