“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My loving eye on you.” - Psalm 32:8
God gives us a wonderful promise for loving guidance as we journey through life. In the previous verse, the psalmist declares that the Lord will be his “hiding place.” When the Lord becomes the One in whom we find our bearings, the One in whom we chose to trust with all our heart, we then learn that He continually is at work to achieve His purposes in us and to provide for our care and well-being. His eyes are not full of judgment or retribution, but love! May we respond to His faithful love and trust in the direction He has for us!
