“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” - Psalm 27:14
King David wrote earlier in the passage that an entire army was coming to wipe him out. Yet, in the midst of it all, he chose to reach out to God and to stay centered in His presence. As long as he knew the Lord was with him, he knew he would come out strong on the other side of the conflict. The Lord is faithful and compassionate. To “wait” on Him is to hold fast to our trust and to continually fix our hopes on Him. God has strength for you. Take courage! He is with you!
