“The Lord is my Shepherd...” - Psalm 23:1a
In a world that seems to have gone crazy, we have help available in Psalm 23. The Lord is our shepherd. His presence does not mean that life becomes problem free. On the contrary. It means that when (not if) heart wrenching sorrow crushes our soul, there is One who stands alongside us to hold, carry, strengthen, guide, and protect. His promise is His presence. The Lord is with us regardless of what befalls us in this world. He remains faithful when we are faithless and strong when we are weak. He is ever-present with grace that helps in time of need. May His presence through these words be your companion today. Your good Shepherd cares for you deeply, and so do we.
